Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Bike

I would like to purchase the replica of the tiger siren. It does not need to be a working siren or have any mechanics to it.

Please send me a message if you have one available. Can pay immediately with Paypal.

Thanks so much!

You'll want to contact KansasJack. He's the only one who offers a siren. It doesn't include the faceplate though. You'll have to make that yourself.

Ok, yall. I will be getting some skirts, wheel disks and frame fillets laser cut soon. Not sure of price but I can ask about doing multiples if there is interest. I will be making the templates for them to scan from posterboard.

Just a heads up that the frame fillets will need to be created per bike. The frames are not identical. Trust me, I'm working with four different frames and not a one of them is the same.

Lol. Sorta. Only one is mine. I'm working with some friends to build them all at the same time. It just seemed easier that way for us all.

When it rains, it pours (part 2)...

Not only did I manage to score one frame, but two for my project (a 1946 & a 1952 DX). I'm thinking I'll end up building one screen accurate & one idealized version after all, but I'll have to see how things go. Parts continue to roll in each day. Starting to learn silicone mold making, small stuff first. Think I'll be starting with the mudflaps, as I found some with the diamond shape pattern (wrong jewel/ornament though). Going to pop off the jewel/ornament & recast them, Got access to a high powered industrial vaccuum system that can be easily adapted to be a vaccuform machine too, so once I have the saddlebags shaped, I can seal them in resin & vaccuform them to cast in fiberglass. I figure if I can get over the saddlebag hump first, then it will all be gravy from then on. Going to be going to Hobby Lobby this weekend to purchase copius amounts of floral foam. Woo-hoo!

Check your serial number on that 46 frame. There was a frame change during 46 that will affect how the rear fender lines up. If you have an early 46 frame you will either need to modify the fender or track down the correct one....which are super rare.

Mine is one of these weird 46s so that is what I had to do.

Keep up the progress. Can't wait to see pictures.

I got you on the parts differences. Ok, thanks. I got a few more parts in today. Going to strip it down and start paint work this weekend.

I'd recommend that you wait until you have everything and rough build it before painting it. You'll be doing a lot of test fitting and I'd be concerned you will damage the paint. That's how they do it on American Choppers. :)

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to check the serial number once it arrives to see. Otherwise, I'll be drilling & cutting away. Should take me back to my days in shop class. I'll take pics as soon as I get the frames & my initial parts on the first one. Agree with the paint comment too. I'll be doing a real rough canjob at first, & not planning on a proper paintjob until after it is pretty much ready for the open road.

By the way, whoever suggested ratrodbikes.com for sourcing the frames, great idea. In less than a week I have gotten two. Both of mine are coming from users there.

It's killing me not to send my bike to the powder coater but I'm forcing myself to wait. So far I'm glad I have or I'd be really pissed at some scratches I've put on it.

This project seems like it would be perfect for scratching perfect paintjobs. All the custom fitting would lend to many new scratches I'd imagine. Part of the reason why I told everyone that I could care less about what the paint on the frames looked like when I was looking for them.

If anyone is still looking for Halloween costume ideas, there are some great masks that match our favorite bicycle siren on eBay!

I am currently working on carving 15# urethane foam to make fiberglass negative molds from. Got my skirts mocked up in posterboard. Pics to come. Moving along!
