Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Bike

I just found that et siren auction, that guy must have found a few cases of sirens or has a connect with someone in Taiwan, elboracholoco has been selling about 80% of the sirens for about three years. Where does he get them?..
I think the weird red eyed goat one is the best.

@Abe, yeah I saw his history and he has sold like 5 tiger sirens in the past. Grrr, I wonder where he found all these!

Wow wtf! Are you kidding me!? Over a grand for that? I've been looking to get a hold of one... but that's just too much $$$$

Also... where can I get some mud flaps too >_>

I have what looks like the right flap, but I just don't have the correct emblem/badge on it.

Ya that's a crazy price. I'm thinking of tearing my X1 down this summer and powdercoating all the metal. I purposely made it look thrown together and spray painted for the movie bike look. But I'm kinda tired of explaining why it looks its way as to look good on film and always think people think that it's just the best I could do.

On top of the price the housing is not correct, nor is the sculpt.
I had a hard time getting 400.00 for mine.

If anyone needs it there's a yellow shirt mickey bell on the bay right now. (It's not mine.)

Hey everyone, this forum is the coolest thing ever. i didn't know there was a culture of fellow enthusiast. For the past few days i read all 60 pages. I would like to bring this spirit back to life. Veterans like Ruddiger, Abelugo and many others are amazing people. They have been so helpful. I feel i know you guys over the 2 years of posts i read in 2 days. lol
kxazbug and XTRMN8R17 keep up the good work and keep us tuned in.

Hah! Thanks! Yeah this threads been a lil dead lately. I finally got my super rocket ray, its needs to be repainted and it should be good. I still need to work on the fenders and find a tiger siren that's not gonna cost me $1000 =\

I finally took the first step in pursuing my dream. 1941 Schwinn DX. what do you guys think? Will this work? i believe the actual bike used was a late 40's -early 50's Schwinn Deluxe.
Also, Ruddiger is that bell the exact one used in the replicas?
Frame color? fire engine red or banner red? rattle or powder coat?
thanks

ill upload a pic shortly

XTRMN8R17 that's cool man, lol yeah i know. Those tiger sirens are crazy expensive. Post a pic of your bike. Im trying to figure out how to upload a pic

The 41 DX is a prewar. I'm not sure if they used that old of a model in film Abe would Probally know for sure but it will work as its essentially the same bike. I have a 41 DX as a rider but used a 48 as my x1 build. I check in on the posts but my bike is basically done for now. Down the road will redo a few things. You guys need to post up your bike progress pics so we can all see how it's going.
