Bet you'd get it from him too. That guy is willing to spend whatever it takes to not have to build anything. So far I've estimated he's paid like 4-5 times what everything has previously sold for. The mud flaps hadn't sold for more than $100 until that guy shelled out $500 for them. The skirts sold for $80-100 until that guy paid $500 for them. Not sure if he was the guy who paid $1600 for the lion siren, but I'd be willing to bet it was him too. Previously the most one had sold for was $1100, so he overpaid for that one item by over $500. Someone paid $400 for a mirror right before that too, & those regularly sold for $70-90 previously. Betting it is also the same person.
The market is SUPER skewed right now. I'm waiting until that guy buys all his parts before I even bother to bid on anything X1-related. I don't want to throw away my whole paycheck.
EDIT: Just figured it out. It's Francis who's buying all this stuff. His dad said he could have ANYTHING he wants for his birthday, & he wanted Pee Wee's bike.
ZOINKS!, that's a lot, these guys with more money than sense is pricing us little guys right out of the market!

Billy, thankfully it's not "guys" with more money than sense, but just one guy. Same username bought all of that stuff. The only things I'm not 100% on is the mirror & the siren (wasn't paying attention to the username on those & I don't have them bookmarked to go back & check). Once he's bought all his parts, he'll sod off & the market will adjust itself again. Then us little guys can start picking up parts again.

Do you mean the Delta Rocket Rays? They fluctuate pretty heavily. On any given day, I've seen working complete ones sell for as little as $80-90 all the way up to $300 or more for a NOS one. If you keep your eye out there are also reproductions for about $100 fairly regularly. The only downside to the repops is they aren't made as solidly as the real ones, so you have to be careful & make sure the batteries are strapped in so the top doesn't go flying off if you hit a bump.
As for the Super Rocket Rays (the one that the Pee Wee bike actually had), those tend to go for way more. Low end is over $200. High end I've seen them listed for $500, but I doubt they actually sold for that.

Wow, steal on that Super Rocket Ray if it works. Even cosmetic issues would be fine for that price.
