Quick. What is this part and where can I get another? It looks like it is copper.

Looks like what's called a reducer. Changes one size pipe to a smaller size.

Since it's copper it's probably a plumbing fixture.

Coolness. Thanks.

One more thing. Can anyone tell me if this a picture of the actual prop or a replica?

How sure are you that it is No. 1 Mark 3? I'm curious because I have two different Enfields and one looks more like the pic than the other.

I also thought the hose connected in front, not the rear like the one above?

Hose connects to the rear.

May have been a cut-down SMLE Mk.3, tho a few months ago there was a posting of a SMLE grenade launcher just as in the photo- not chopped down, but actual production rifle by the UK during WWII for firing out of a tank.

It's on this board somewhere...

Then which one is right? That one or this one? Looks like there is a hole in the stock on the one below, but the hose goes to the front of the gun. I'm assuming this is the same gun.

Clutch, I have a Jawa blaster that we can compare. We are back in Fieldstone Farms right up the street from you. I also want to see your new Jawa score that Hook told me about.

Geoff

Thanks Markus. I don't know how I missed those first two threads. I looked at just about every thread that had the word 'Jawa' in it. Or so I thought.

I was confused because the parts of star wars site says this:

"Under the rifle there is a black cord or hose attached to the metal loop located just in front of the ammunition clip. This attaches to a metal canister, probably brass and/or copper, that may be an antique gun powder flask or oil container. There is a thin leather strap attached to the side of this container that was slung over the Jawa's shoulder."

I snagged the one DCB had up for sale. I'll be selling the spare Enfield Ion gun I have shortly if Hook doesn't want it.
