A guy over at the Rebelscum forum said he heard a rumour that Parks is going under due to legal problems.
Anybody know anything about this?

I guess you are referring to the post made by SaberFreak on RebelScum's forum.
I asked him by PM what his source was. He replied and referred to lgtsbr's bulk order thread on Jedi Assembly's message board. (Apparently, that bulk order is canceled, btw)

I noticed on other sites this week that Parks Sabers isn't answering phone calls and at this point their site is no longer up. Perhaps their legal troubles have finally caught up with them as well as their bad business tactics. Looks like it's time to say so long to Parks Sabers just like we did with Icons.

I just checked that their site is indeed up. As to Parks having legal troubles.. I was not aware of any.
Does anyone have more info?

I'm curious to know who's waiting for what and how many of us there are (kind of a master list). It seems like most of the posts I'm reading are for USK buyers. I'm just waiting for an MPP. I thought Dave actually had some MPPs and was just waiting for the replacement parts so he could ship. What are the parts he's waiting for (I know some of them are units that came damaged)? At this point I'd rather have a 70-80% complete MPP than the nothing I do have.

I saved away the money in February '04, the same day I first heard about it. I contacted Dave on May 12 '04 after having seen his post on ASAP. I paid for two USKs and one Graflex on June 19 '04, as soon as I had been paid by the guy who would have the second kit. I was told I could expect delivery the following month.. :lol :confused

A stupid thing is that Dave has had the Graflex since August 11 '04... waiting for the rest of the stuff. Edit: ... before being shipped overseas to me in Europe.

I don't get it. I bought my Parks USK and received everything minus the Kobold within one month. I spoke with Andy on the phone and he was very helpful. He even called me when the Graflexes came in so I could buy one of those also. It puzzles me that their customer service was so good to me and so poor to others. I feel for you guys still waiting and recommend calling and speaking with Andy. He was very helpful.

The people at Rebelscum are also complaining about Parks, when they don't even realize they are dealing with resellers.

At this late stage as we prepare to enter the festive season, i personally have lost all faith that i'll ever get a USK.....i ordered mine about a year and a half ago....

I honestly wish Dave could update us personally.
