Parks Mace Windu Rebel Conversion by LDM

What? You thought I was done today???

This is a Parks EL Mace Windu that Obi-Wan Kenobi so graciously sold me. It was non-working (I knew it when I bought it) so my choices were to have a cool little (and i do mean little) belt hanger, or figure a way o convert it. Betcha can't figure out what I chose.

How does one convert a saber with an ID of 3/4"? Just make a 3/4" hilt that slides inside the Windu hilt!

The specifics:

Luxeon rebel Royal Blue (from xwingband)
10 Ohm 1/4 W resistor
TCSS guarded switch
"N" Battery holder
6 V Li-ion battery (not sure on the #)
3/4" LDM chassis
Custom heatsink
Rebel optics (also from xwingband)

Very nice conversion! I like the simple bottom switch to it to, tucked away were you really won't see it.

Yes, I did a red polycarbonate blade tonight and the blade now looks deep purple when on.

What are the "gold" parts made of on the Parks? Looks good!

The saber is solid brass. The "buttons" are polished brass plated aluminum ofr some reason.
