Going back to model-making roots: paper! - I got the idea from an activity from work.
I thought it would be interesting to have a functional paper model of the dropship at the office.
Currently at "day 4" (3-4hrs per day) of the build, most of the support structures are in place, and the missile pods are articulated.
The proportions kinda crept up as the fuselage came together, compared to the plans (APC included).
Overall size and missile pod articulation. The silhouette's pretty much done - next up, the landing gear.
So far, it's still at 100% paperboard construction, I'm wondering if I'll need to reinforce the landing gear with paper clips.
It's not very pretty right now, but it'll get there.
Thanks for looking!
