I've got a tutorial somewhere to help your carve the aperture so you can make it functional. Also keep in mind, the plastic bone won't be 100% straight so you may find it harder than usual to bore it out. Of course, if you're just wanting a static prop like I'm sure the real one was, there's no need to holow it out. Just drill the finger and mouth holes.
