Hey Mr H.......shame about the silicone one (not that YOUR bothered lol).....latex pull came out clean as **** tho.

Dunno about potential collectors, you know how it is with tyre kickers.
I managed to find the P2 bio. its too short and too narrow all over, about 1.5 inch on the crown, about 2 inches in the cheak and 2 or 3 inches in length , so yay for me on wanting it bigger.
As for the rebreather, i cannot find it
although i did find some fast cast resin, so i will probably poor another one later today, time permitting. i think the mould is about dead but even if it is, at least the shape is there to try.
oh and i have the sculpt still, so i can remould it if needed.

The Rebreather i created ( yes i have made a couple of things on the lair ), pretty much has the same issue as the bio.
the cheak area is too narrow, i COULD heat it up with some steam and flare it out, then i guess it would fit, but i really cannot be botherd. i am actually surprised each time i pull a rebreather and the details still hold up lol.
anyway i deleted the photo of the bio, for some stupid reason, and i am not going to dig it out again , so you will have to make do with the rebreather picture.

hi lee going back to the silicone casting and how you had probs with it ,what silicone did you use,was it a standard silicone or special kind?.as im in two minds now since reading this whether to go down the silicone road! thanks tony.
Tony, I used GEL00 for this, exactly the same stuff as I used on my P1, which was a huge success for me.
The problems I had with this were purely down to a mistake by me, and I still intend on finishing the paint up I have started on this, as silicone is definately the way forward and offers so many pluses over latex I will not make MYSELF a latex mask again.
Silicone has one downfall and that's the cost.
But again in my opinion the pros make it well worth saving up for.
Quick picture of where the silicone masks paint up stands. I am kind of stuggling with these pigments, i guess thts whats happens when you go from the best FUSEFX to making your own lol.
anyway, just testing everything out presently, so far on the test patterns i have done 2 shades of red, i would imagine i will be doing another 3 shades to get the dark look i am going for with this.

thanks for that lee im going to post a pic or two of the suit ive nearly finished with your head and one i did ,by taking the pics i now know were i went wrong !mine is far too big and out of proportion!will after go back to sculpting another one!
