Damn Lem - you took the words outta my mouth! This is just too awesome for me to resist. I don't like painting latex, but dayum - this is one helluva P2 sculpt! Believe it or not, but I didn't used to like P2 at all. I will always like the P1 design the most, but after seeing Robs drawings I grew to like it. Now that I see Lee's interpretation of the P2, its given me a new appreciation. Thank you Lee...

I feel the same.I wasn't a fan until I started talking and seeing posts by Rob and Scott(TMI) at the tiem the only hardcore P2 fans here. now I love it but as you said earlier P1 will be my all time fave!

well i hope you still like him when i have finished with him, i have just reshaped his inner upper lip thingy, and yes i gave him some longer teeth
the inner mouth is now as done as it will get, so next free time slot it is back to the main part of the head.
sorry i didnt have time for a side by side today i will try tomorrow.

Again thanks for the nice comments guys, but if you want to /need to question anything please do so, just because ive done a couple of preds does not mean i see flaws or things that should be changed.
Brad, thats what this place is about, bouncing off each other, and finding peoples work motivates you to do something yourself, i pretty much get inspiration from a VAST amount of people here, just little things they do spark you off, if i had the time i would sculpt everyday........... well sculpt and surf, as most of the time they chill me out

One thing that's sticking out to me, Lee, is that his left eyebrow seems higher than his right. Now, of course, it could be just the camera shot, and you can also chalk it up to "nothing in nature is symmetrical, but that's all I'm really seeing...

Nailed it. Plain and simple!! Looks bad ass!
Ok heres a side by side, but 1st i have to explain some things.
I figured i would use a raw P2 as the dreaded one would throw off the sizing, having said that the ONLY blank i have was intended for something else and HARD foamed in the mould so it has hardly shrunk ( latex shrinks remember ) sorry but i have no other P2 blanks.
The open mouth P2 is quite abit stumpier in length than this closed version, and even though the open is packed hard it is still a good 1.5 inches narrower id say.
As another point of comparison i added the silicone P1 ( just quickly added the mandible teeth, they are not permanent though ) a idea of size is this, the P1 fits the stunt bio PERFECTLY !! so that is virtually 1.1 size. so the P2 closed mouth will be approx that size when made into a mask.
anyway im going to try tinker with this alittle more today, and carry on just detailing as i am finally happyish with the shape and flow of it.
not sure why but i feel like i have my sculpting mojo back today.
