Oxylabs Pred Mask

I saw yesterday that someone on here got a mask from Oxtlabs. It was thin and looked like it was one layer of latex. He was expected to foam fill it and make it work on her own. So i went to there site and here is what I found. I was curious how much it would be to have it made ready to wear, and here is their reply


Hello a single moisten the mask would cost about $ 10,000. Please do not scare because of the price but we have only seen once a mask is just like you on the internet because we can not produce. We have the project to finance the project up to now not yet meet people get on together. We still need to finance the mask series ripe finish. The starting price should be if we all have as far as maturing series at
$ 1195.95.

Ouch. I could barely understand their reply but I do understand dollar signs.  lol  When they briefly joined up I didnt get a good feeling from them.  Their prices were easily double anyone else and they seem to have only gone up.  I feel bad for anyone who pays those prices for the kind of product they produce.

i don't enjoy the single to moisten a mask.  So I would never pay $10,000.   But if the mask was mature and ripe maybe i would be oversupplied with much consideration.

O.K. guys first of all only as I´m also living in germany I´m not trying to defend these guys from Oxygen-Labs BUT and that is very important for me @A Hunter´s Moon did you got ever any item from these guys that you could give a personal opinion of one of there items???

I for myself could say the following I bought 2 complete sets of dreads from Oxygen-labs last year for me and my friend that we used on our P1 masks and these dreads were absolutly the best I ever have had and you could belive me in the last years we built up about 5 or 6 Predators with dreads from all others that are available.

It also is very clear as because I live in germany I didn´t not payed a high shipping or customs fees for these dreads as I always had to do when I ordered these in USA.

I also have had one of there bio helmets in my position for a litle bit over one year and on this I clearly could say I never have seen a better built up on a bio with changeable lens and lasers complete with all needed tools as that helmet.

So what I like to say is please if you guys did not know there stuff do not crash the dustbag out over them as that is absolutly not fair. 

BTW to that very thin mask that another member here on the lair got I also saw an ebay auction from Oxygen-Labs in the last weeks were they clearly stated that this mask is a thin latex pull as normaly it would be used on there complete animatronic rig.

 I agree Tom.  If I recall correctly, they got pretty nasty there toward the end as well.  It's one thing to come here and offer a product, if the product is worth offering (and also being helpful in promoting this hobby), but to come here and ONLY try to sell crap to people that may not know any better is wrong.  I contacted them long ago and the reply I got was so unbelievably rude and arrogant.  Needless to say, That was the end of that.  I never received "any item" from them to give my personal opinion of because they made it so easy to NOT WANT ONE.  Their products may be good, but their customer service (at least to me) is crap, which in my mind speaks volumes for what they have to offer.  Nuff said!

Guido, they have a bad reputation here for facts the above guys have stated, I personally had to chase them around the forum several times as they literally spammed the hell out of section after section trying to get sales on their stuff.
the thin mask thing has come up before a couple of times and neither were informed about it being that way sadly.

they are just another case of coming here to sell, no intention of being part of the community. 

sad really as I am sure if they had made the effort they would have got a fair bit of business from the biggest Predator fan base on the planet.
