Over The Top Bonneau Baseball cap.

Guys, Ive been toying with makeing one of these babies for quite a few years now. As a naive teen back in the day, I thought that I would eventually find one, but this was not to be. the fact is, I think the hat was either comissioned for the movie, or it was a rare style, as there are certain factors involved. The first being that to have a 'high' front cap as it is, would only be attributed to on-field baseball caps and truckers caps, but on-field caps are normally always made to fit, with no snapback adjuster on the rear. Now the truckers caps have the plastic snapback adjuster (like in the movie), but they are always normally mesh sides, where Sly's was navy blue cotton, with a green underside to the peak. I have also had the Bonneau patch specially made up, and I'm very happy with the result (which should be with me shortly, pics to follow). The hat, was quite hard to find, as the majority of caps on the market now are either velcro or buckle adjusted at the rear. But I found a hat, that is not only close to the colour, and has the fold at the top of the one piece front (not the more common two part center stitched front, but it also has the green underside to the peak. It does however have a embroidered tem logo on it, but the bonneau patch will cover that anyway.

Anyways, sorry for the gassing, and I will post pics just as soon as both parts arrive, which should be within the next two weeks.

Hello Raven,
I'm from France, I live in Paris. Over the top was my favorite movie when I was a kid.
It not easy to find a dvd in France of Over the top, but I finally found one last week.
It was so nice to watch again the movie, los of souvenir and emotion.
I tried to find the baseball cap of over the top but its impossible! The only one I found in all the world is the one you create your self! The cap is just perfrect!
I was wondering if you create just one cap or if you already make several, because I trully want to have one... maybe I can buy one from you?
Let me know and bravo you make a great job in creating the baseball cap of my favorite movie!
