Outlaw Star Caster gun

On several occassions i have been asked to build a Caster from Outlaw Star after people saw my anime guns.

I would love to tackle it, but will need as much reference as possible. Googled but couldn't find too much, so any help is welcome.

Cheers,

Marc

A buddy of mine made that replica. When he sent me that picture, I tried Googling it 'cos I wasn't familiar with the show. Didn't find much. I think you'd need to DL it and get the 'ole screencapper out.

Looks to be sold out though.....

Found my dvd set, I hope to start capping tonight.

If anyone can recommend an episode with some good shots, post up. I will cap the double barrel blaster as well (since its in ever show and it is also awesome :) )

I just watched this series recently for the first time, and one of the first things I thought was "that caster gun would make a cool prop".

Funny how your perspective changes once you've been in this hobby for a little while. :lol

I'd love an all-metal version, personally. But that probably requires greater resources than most fan-builders have at their disposal.

More pics to show it off a little more, plus the shells too.

I have started on a 3d model in Rhino, but i need to finish some of my current projects first before i can devote fully to this one.
