Outlander Gun

Just FYI the sword in these pictures looks like a detailed version of this one:

Wow, that does look like the same sword... Even the scabbard has the exact same design... They probably just bought collector swords and used them to make molds for the plastic/rubber stunts...

EDIT- Actually, this is the EXACT sword:

It's even listed as a folded steel blade (with that pattern in the metal), the same pommel/crossguard (with a swirly pattern too), and the proper interwoven leather handle grip... I guess the craftsmanship explains the $433. The pieces I have look exactly like this...

Re: Outlander suit pictures

This was a show from hell for me, as at one point i did a 42 hour shift, I didn't take too many pictures. Here are a couple of the ones i remembered to take though. The suit was about half fibreglass and half foam latex, but the big cannon gun was thin resin and rigid urethane foam. Caviezel is an interesting character for sure.

I am going to run a suit one day for my display room.

Thanks for the pictures jonesfx, that suit and weapon look great!

And when you say Caviezel is an interesting character, I hope that's a good thing.:ninja

Ahhh. That gun I've seen, Premiere did sell that one. I couldn't remember when it appeared in the movie though. I think they sold it in two lots, the shoulder mount and the front part seperately. I think I have pics of it at home, I'll check tonight...

Yep, looks like they had that huge gun in two pieces (and sold them separately in live auctions). Here's their pics:

Thanks for the photos of my guns that sold in auction. Makes me mad when producers sell stuff I build because many times I have lost money due to the budget being too small to do a good job, but I went ahead and did a good job anyway, and then they sell it and don't give me any extra cash! touch lesson to learn. I just finished Resident Evil Afterlife and made a nice profit and it was the same producer, so things do sometimes even out.
