Original Pacific Rim question

Maybe someone with better tech than me can find an answer.
I'm replicating the leather jacket that the pilots for the Gipsy Danger wear. I'm almost done but I can't figure out what the leather patch over their left breast looks like. I know it has a set of Ariel wings but what they look like and what it says is too blurry to make out. Can anyone help?

I could never see that either. For my jacket I just used a Gibson & Barnes leather pilot patch with a generic set of wings.

It looks like there’s three lines:

1. A long, centred, line of small text
2. ‘T R Becket’ in a large text
3. A short, centred, line of short text

I can’t see any sign that there’s any wings or rank, but maybe the smaller text says ‘Ranger’?

Are there any DVD extra features or interviews with the actors in costume? There’ve been exhibitions of the costumes, but all the images I saw on Google are of the Drivesuits and not the bomber jackets.

There were some of the costumes from Gipy’s ground crew in the Propstore’s Pacific Rim auction: https://propstoreauction.com/view-a...FIC-RIM-Gipsy-Danger-Crew-Roe-Montez-Costume# It doesn’t have a name on it, but does have a number on a tape on the shoulder – so maybe the pilots had a similar thing but with their names?

I think this the closest I've seen. And you're right, no wings. The large text that I took for wings definitely says "T. R. Becket". Underneath, "Ranger". Unless something better rolls along in the next few days I'm going with Jaeger Pilot for the top line.
BTW, where's a good, cheap place to get these name tags?

I think that is on the bottem.

Looks to me like the first line is their service number, Second line Rank and last name, third is P.P.D.C.
