Opinions needed... How should I build up these blasters?

I have parts for a few blasters and I'm not sure the best way to build them up. While accuracy is important to me, it's not a 100% must. What I'm looking for is people's opinions on how they would build up the blasters with the parts I have.

There are a couple things to keep in mind. First, I have two display cases. One for an E-11 and one for a DL-44. I don't have the room other than in these cases, so I'm limited to being able to display only those two blasters. The second thing is that I have a built E-11, and this is the more important of the two to me.

So, here's what I have:

E-11
• E-11 built from a rebuilt Sterling, real Hengstler, real 1943 M38, SaberFreak T-track and bobasfett cylinders

Han ESB DL-44
• MR Flash hider
• MR scope bracket
• MR scope bracket knob
• MR left side detail pieces
• CorellianExports scope bracket
• CorellianExports scope bracket knob
• Real visible V8 parts

Han ROTJ DL-44
• CorellianExports machined scope bracket
• RussRep flash hider
• Real Tasco Pronghorn scope
• accurate scope rings
• Resin piston halves
• Resin scope tip detail
• rubber foot detail pieces.

Parts I could use on multiple blasters
• 1 MGC Mauser
• 1 Denix Mauser with wood grips mounted
• 1 real M32 scope with Boba Debt bolts

As you can see, I have a lot of great parts. My main decision is what to do with the MGC and M32. The M32 would be great on the E-11 and would top off a great, accurate blaster. It would also be almost necessary on an ESB DL-44. The MGC could be used for either DL-44 and should go with whatever one will be most accurate.

I realize this mostly comes down to what props you like best, but I'd love to hear the opinions of other people.

Thanks.

Not sure about the other Blasters, but your list misses the Mounting Rail for the E-11.

Also keep in mind that ANH and ESB versions are different mostly in few decorative parts. ROTJ E-11 is another story, and needs to be scratch build or buy a kit.

With the parts you have, you are in Blaster builder's heaven. Literally.

Just make sure what version you want build, gather reference pictures if haven't already do so, and start putting things together.

You maybe need to find/buy/scratch build some parts though...

And for the E-11, I would use the M38 scope.

The E-11 is already built up and there is an angled scope rail attached. It's built like an ANH blaster. I just rechecked PoSW and it looks like the A1 version is the closest to what I have built (though not cast parts). I may need to look for a 1942 M38 for it now.

Hi Jeff

Being a blaster guy myself, I´d try to archieve some exclusivity with my collection. Given the limited ressources you are dealing with, I´d go with an accurate ROTJ blaster. It´s more rare than the ESB blaster incarnations IMHO, but has to be done right so check, if you can do the milling on the left side!. If you can´t, go for the ESB DL44.

Just my opinion,

Markus :)

p.s.:
IF you ever decide to sell the ESB muzzle, drop me a line ;)

Thanks for your opinion Markus. I also like the idea of having something that isn't as common. I personally can't do the milling, but I will have to try to find someone who could if I go that route.

I'll probably still build up both versions, but since I only have one DL-44 case I may have to just swap them when displaying them.
