Opinion of Sideshow Iron Man Mark 3 Maquette?

I didn't see a thread started on this. Wondering what the masses thought about the new Sideshow Iron Man maquette that debuted at SDCC? Pretty pricey and large from what I gather. Debating ordering one but thought I'd throw it out there....

Yes. undoutedbly going to be ridiculously expensive. I don't have anything in half size though so it's not exactly going to fit in my collection. Tough decisions.... haven't seen anything on price though...

Cost is $1949.99 with a non-refundable deposit of $390.00. Released 2nd quarter 2010. Pretty big, as expected. 40 " tall and 21" at the base....
Looks phenomenal however.

Can't they just make a Premium Format Iron Man? They made the Mark I so I would think they are going to make a Mark II or MarkIII...

I would pay $2000 for a statue.

seems fair for the price. I mean cinemaquette 1/3 statues are fairly up there in price as well.

And if you think about it... if you were to try and make a lifesized statue, say out of TMP's iron man suit, the suit alone would cost about $4000 (not including the mannequin needed, labor and all that other good stuff)... so this statue is half the size.... and half the price... .seems about right
