Hi all, nice to meet you, im new here. Im looking to make a wearable Ood head, Ive looked through and seen a couple of you have made them, I wondered if people would be happy to give advice.

Hi, ok,

so my first question is about scale, I see the Ood head is bigger than a normal head, but wondered how much bigger I should make it?

I googled the dr who confidential and they spoke about using latex foam ( or it might have been rubber foam) I haven't used this before. Should I stick with liquid latex , which I know, or try this out??

It really depends what you are comfortable with.
Cold foam as well as hot foam latex both can break down a little bit quicker than just plain liquid latex (or so I have heard)

I used plain liquid latex slushed into a plaster mould to make my mask the main down side of this is you have to add some padding in the head to "fill it out"
