that's strange, the one in the picture with the guy standing on his shoulders doesn't have the loop for the strap, or the hole left by it. Is that from earlier in the movie?

I think the manufacturer logo is visible in one scene. But I think that HD captures would be needed.

The manufacturer might be Tombo. It used to be an Italian harmonica manufacturer.

It´s the flashback that tells "harmonica´s" backstory.
 
I even asked a friend who is an expert in harmonicas, but he could not identify it exactly. I could not find any information about it anywhere. The Blu-ray will be released in the summer so maybe then we can have high-res screenshots.
 
They use a few. Sometimes it is bent up, sometimes not. And the details change.

I get the feeling from the movie that it is supposed to be the same harmonica. That the boy kept it all those years to give it back to Frank.
 
I got the Blu-ray so I will try to research this further at some point. It's very difficult to find out the exact manufacturer and model (it seems that there were few different harmonicas used).
 
Still looking for some information, although it might be next to impossible to identify it.
