For me it would be a remake of the 1933 King Kong, using stop motion.

Second would be Superman..set in the 1930's/40's Metropolis with an Alex Ross looking Superman.

Remember, you have millions to play with.

Does it have to be a fan film? I'd get the rights to Dead Space and make a movie set after the 2nd game. A more game universe accurate Resident Evil. Astronauts In Trouble the movie. Live action Final Fantasy movie that isn't crap. Robotech the movie, battletech movie, shadowrun movie or a good version of a William Gibson cyberpunk movie.

Reason I said fan film is so you didn't have to spend money on the rights. Just make a movie for your own enjoyment, but with a HUGE budget.

But if you had enough to buy the rights AND make the movie...great!

I would also remake EPIII. More Vader. More Empire.

I think that might cost more than a few million to film Larry lol. Though you could film the moon exterior scenes live from the moon but the rest you'd have to film in studio.

Battletech movie. Hell, I just want a 1:1 mech bay set with a couple 1:1 mechs in it.

Actually, forget the props, with a few million spare dollars I could buy the Battletech IP, minus the VG rights that MS has their grubby little mitts on.

lol. True. That would let you make a ton of merchandise including the movie. I bet for that you could save Shadowrun from ruination too, except for the game rights which MS has and squanders.

Well, i've got a couple crossovers in my head i've been meaning to write. One's a Doctor Who/Star Trek crossover. The Tardis ends up getting sucked into the ST universe, and lands on a new experimental Federation ship...and they end up fighting the Borg....And it turns out the Borg Queen is Miss Hartigan (from "The Next Doctor") who, along with a bunch of Cybermen, instead of being destroyed in the Time Vortex, got thrown into the ST universe's Delta Quardrant in the 1800s, and became the Borg.

Also, i've got a Highlander/Fallout3/Fallout New Vegas idea that i just started working on...that involves a random immortal as the main charecter. (There are WAY too many MacLeods dagnabit!) He ends up finding out that Caesar (Play New Vegas to find out who he is) is an Immortal as well, and the fun begins. (like i said..i havn't been working on that one too long, so very few set details)

I can't believe i forgot a Fallout movie until you mentioned it but mine would be set in the old style before Bethesda took over. It's just not the same.

lol. There's enough talent on here to get it done. I'd probably be the guy in charge of getting coffee lol. Terminator 5: This one won't suck.

This would have to be the best pool of talent out there. RPF crew all the way and I would get Guy Cowen to build my Kong after seeing his Stopmo Tauntaun!

Nahhh, just do the whole thing on a big sound stage like NASA did back in July of 1969.

I'm kidding! Sheesh!

I'd check if they couldn't do a dramatization of the making of Metropolis, much in the same way as RKO 281, rather than a remake.

Well... if I had around 100 million to blow, I'd do a Star Trek the way I see it. I don't mind the alternate universe thing... but it would look and feel more like Star Trek... the characters would be more like themselves (or Kirk and Scotty would), the Enterprise would look more like the Enterprise, and there would be more of moral story with human exploration in it.

Otherwise, I'd like to do "The Killing Joke."

I'm in. When do you win the millions? :lol

For me it would be the Icewind dale trilogy books by Salvatore. Also, i second the idea about Shadowrun, or maybe Star Frontiers type movie.

Uncharted. The second game of course, has alot of potential. And Halo but god I'd need more than a few mil for that one.
