This is a really old thread but I have some info direct from Smooth-On that helps.
The SmoothCast 320 series requires mixing a lot. Especially the B part. You end up with oozing. oily castings and all kinds of issues if not mixed well. And paint won’t stick at all.
So stir, not shake, your individual A and B bottles longer than you think you should, then stir the B again. Then stir the B again. This is literally what I was told by Smooth-On.
Then as always stir well when combining.
Also mold release will cause paint to not stick in every instance. Using acetone to clean it works really well and Smooth-On also recommends Cascade Complete dishwashing liquid to remove mold release.
