Amazing suit! I love seeing these photos! :D

I'm thinking of ordering a set of gloves for my TFA display. I'm trying to make it as close as I can to the screen used suit's measurements. What size gloves would you guys recommend to match that which Chris Evans wore?

Probably a M or L given his build, unless he has freakishly small or large hands. I would go with a L.

Actually Dave probably had an original suit to use for reference, so he can probaby give you a definitive answer.

Thanks for the tip sleeprfocus! I'll be considering getting a L.

Will also wait for David's response if he comes across my question :)

Hi David. I sent you a PM regarding my glove sizing question just in case you come across my question there first. In the event that you happen to check here, my question on post #223.

Putting it here on the latest post anyway :)

What size gloves would you recommend to match that which Chris Evans wore? I'm currently building a 1:1 display.

Thanks for your time :D

well.... I looked and was contemplating ordering one of these instead of going through the effort to make my own, but after looking at the sizing chart, it was clear that there was a problem.

Not exactly a fault of UDreplicas, but these suits appear to be designed for people of 'average build'.

I noticed that if you have a chest size of 50", the waist size of the jacket is a whopping 44"!! OUCH. If for example your chest size is 50" and your waist is 34-36", This just isn't going to fit all that well if I'm reading the charts correctly.

The size charts are the sizes of the garments.. not your sizes. You may also be thinking they mean a different area then what you're measuring. You should give them a call with your measurement. They'll help you out!

Re: Officially Licensed: Captain America: TFA - Movie Replica. Updated 3/9

Uh if your chest is 50 and waist is 34, you really expect most apparel manufacturers to make clothes that are a perfect fit with your build, let alone a specialty motorcycle suit company? Bodybuilders are not exactly the majority of market share, I don't know what you expect from UD.

As for fit, the jackets have more flex in the waist area than their Batman suits, so you can use the belt to narrow the waist line more, but you're not going to be able to tighten it a whopping 10 inches.

Um... I didn't say I expected anything from them, where do you see that I did?

Perhaps you missed the part where I said it's not exactly their fault?

I expressed a slight disappointment that I likely won't be able to order one, not a criticism of the company, so kindly can the attitude.

Fantastic Execution on the Captain American suite! WOW! You outdid yourself once again sir! Will be placing an order for the entire suite and will definitely be giving a call to ensure that sizing will not be an issue! Love the fact that it IS a motorcycle suite and is design for protection for the rider! Makes me even more proud that I'm a rider and will be using this suite as it was design for!
Just picked up a vintage 1985 Honda VF1000R motorcycle and the bike will compliment the suite as it's colors are red, white & blue!
Thanks sir for indeed making not only your dreams true but ours as well!

Sweet find! :cool
I had a Honda Interceptor 500 and then a 700 back in the 80s. My two-piece red, white, and blue riding leathers completed the "Captain America" look.

Re: Officially Licensed: Captain America: TFA - Movie Replica. Updated 3/9

Had and 84 VF500 Interceptor! Loved that bike! What memories!
Can't wait to have David's suite in my hands! Then to put it to use!
Glad I'm a very patient person so waiting won't be killing me!

Considering how much the suit from the movie went for last night this is a great deal and price.

There was never a promise to have this first edition delivered in time for the release of the film.....just that they'd ship out by months end.:cool.

Sleepr, David is very correct in his wording. I did hold the same expectation as you however UD was wise in their wording since they can't be held responsible for shipping mishaps, should they occur.
