Same here. Plus, more time means a better product. Also... I sent David the manual for the 2016 Mags over Skype, saying they could use this as a reference point for any future improvements they might make... And now they're delayed. COINCIDENCE?!...... More than likely

Why would he replace the LED lights with EL?

Now for clarification, there is a guy on IG under cloneprops. Is that you or someone else?

They should also make the soles tinted blue...this would sell me... hell even on the V3's soles should come stock blue tinted!

I wonder if you add blue tint the trans-amber rubber is it goes blue or green? Still has to be better than **** yellow.

The LEDs serve no real purpose except for some bling. If the LEDs were power level inductors, they would serve a purpose.

Replacing the power sucking LEDs for EL plus colour filters extends battery life from 4 or 5 hours to over 24 hours.

China does not do small runs. They will be making a few thousand of these. They will push the limited numbers to get people to buy.

So this is the new thread lol. its been awhile since i been on here.

My V3's still turning heads however i wont turn the lights on unless i upgrade the LED boards first. other then that i wear them alot and they are looking good and no light issues. Hope you all are still enjoying them!


Also is there a way to make the material less shiny?

Yes yes after the old thread exceeded 10000 posts, it was decided a new V3 thread was needed. As thread starter, I reserved the first two posts to keep all the relative information together, and easy to find.

WOW all still working. Either you don't weigh much or you scored the best built pair yet.

The water resisting agent tends to take the shine off them. If you scuff them, you just ruin the fabric, so best to not do that. You will find the video in page 1, post #2.

Yep, they are a bit stiff when new (many shoes are) but I've found them quite comfortable after a while. Pity the toebox wrinkles, but it's not too bad. My lights lasted a few months but eventually broke on the wear pair. However the other 2 that I've only worn once are perfectly fine. I wear them most weekends and without fail someone notices or says something. Some guy pushed his shopping trolley into a post at the shopping centre I was at last weekend because he was staring at my V3's as I went past instead of watching where he was going. Laughs.
Damn I wish I could have bought these 20 years ago.
