Official Show off your model collection thread!

Spent the day soldering LED strips together to add (voice-activated) internal lighting to my hobby room display cabinets (which I'm reorganising to make a bit more space - still a work in progress!). I've also added green felt lining to show the various models and props off a bit better (I hope). I ran out of felt, which is why one of the shelves is still default white laminate. I'm going to add the same green felt to the back of the smaller glass cabinet on the right, and may add more LED strips on the ceiling above the cabinets to light the items on their tops.

The shelves are organised by movie/TV show as much as possible (though I must admit they do get a bit random occasionally!) The 'Blade Runner 2019 shelf on the left looks a bit empty as it's waiting for another work-in-progress figure to go in it (Gaff) with room for a couple more too I hope if the sculptor carries on making them.

Nice collection! What's the ship to the right of the Phoenix? Also, your power strip makes me LOL, the yellow plug covers look like emojis.

My collection is right now a combination of Lego, Paper Models and a few Plastic Model Kits. The shelves are a little bare so more justification to build more kits and display! This doesn't include the RC Models I have stashed around the room!

So here are the finished kits. In my stash I have a Studio series tie fighter, another 1/350 TOS E to convert into a ship of my design, the USS Condor, an evil Dead model of Ash and Linda, and a BIG Exorcist model kit of Merrin and Karras doin the exorcism on Reagan.

On my bench are 2 small SDF-1 kits(ship and robot), the old K-7 space station and a Judge Anderson Vinyl kit I am converting into a generic female protagonist from Fallout.

WOW!! REALLY nice collection there, R9D!!! Especially love Mazinger Z Infinity, Voltron/ GoLion and the other mecha, and the starships!

My current setup (in progress; just got a new shelf rack as a gift!); the pics stink a bit, but when I get this set up better, I'll take some photos that aren't "quick and dirty" (these were for my friend earlier today, so I just snapped them quick for him):

No; actually, it is this:

It's an old ERTL 1/32 diecast helicopter. They madeut as an Airwolf toy, then reused it for "repaints" of different toys. I bought one a little bit ago and converted it into a full 1/32 Airwolf.

That project is here:

This one began life as an Ertl 1/32 scale diecast toy originally (like this, only a "coast guard" version in white): And with that, a lot of cutting, sanding, grinding and scratchbuilding: Had to make the main flight dash/ console and seats: Body work in masking tape, and doing the...
