Do you get the sheet of black tape like in that review? No packing peanuts either?

What is the manual like?

I know this is a little off topic, but does it seem like there is alot of drama over there? I think it's a great site, and I used it alot for my builds, but it seems Like everyone want's to start a fight!

Would love to see a sound upgrade. I can actually hear that little high pitch, warm, ticking sound ( that's ever so pleasent ) in my head!
 
yeah the sound should almost be what this sounds like but with a loose wire or something... much more garbled and mechanical.
 
There is probably a little more ego involved in "fan" community than hobby community. We are here for a collective general interest. They are there because it is a single topic close to their hearts.
 
Transplanting the Toy PKE guts to a converted Iona, eh?


Well, I do have PKE body casting at my disposal.... and 3 Toy PKEs coming my way...

First impressions: A little heavier than I thought it would be, it feels pretty nice in your hand. It's pretty great messing around with all the different modes. For the price, it's great! The weather is just ok, but with a little light modding, this has the potential to be a really nice piece :thumbsup
 
To cover the screw holes with, or so I have been told. The pics look great, looks like it will be a nice, with a little modding. Can't wait to see and hear some of those.
 
Still waiting on mine to ship - called Matty today, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. They are nice but its totally from a script. Mine should "ship this week"...
 
I had to change the shipping address on mine. They told me there was absolutely no way it could be done in their office, but when I asked politely to speak with a supervisor, he made the change on the spot. Also some serious language barriers going on.
 
I haven't been recharged or received a shipping confirmation yet. I am still listed as being in process. I am not worried about not getting my stuff, but I am a little irked that those who I know for a fact placed their order after me have not only received shipping confirmation they have actually received their product.

Yeah seems kinda random really, they blurb Wednesday on Facebook and Twitter that they will all be shipped by Thursday "Great news, Ghostbusters fans! PKE meters have been rec'd in the warehouse and are shipping. They should all be out by tomorrow. posted Wednesday", well it's now Friday, some have them in hand and delivered while others have no charge or shipping update at all...
