Just wanted to throw in my experiences using Matty Collector/Digital River:
I've been buying through Matty since the site first went up, so about a year and a half or so because I collect the He-Man action figures.
I'm not sure if this will put anyone at ease or not, but it's been like this from the very beginning. It's some of the worst online ordering I've ever experienced. The call centers are clueless, and they all have different information. When I was trying to place my PKE order, I kept getting credit card declined errors, so I called them up. They said they couldn't help me. So I hung up and called back, getting a different person on the phone who was able to place a phone order for me... Similar experiences with the He-Man toys. Nobody has any exact details.
But, it seems like it always works out in the end. I know they have never over-sold a product, and everyone who was able to place an order will get their item. My guess is that Mattel tried to rush this through in time for Christmas, and some things on the backend got messed up. My only advice is to sit tight...
