Shingouki28 already got it...these are the struts for a M56 Aliens smartgun

besides of my PR and the WIP Nostromo pistol, it will be the only non- StarWars related item in my collection. LOVE this design!!!

p.s : ...have no idea where to display it once finished :lol

The buttons for my MerrSonn just came in...

While they´d look great, once I removed the "pin", they are too small :unsure
The correct ones should be around 13x13mm, while those are 10x10mm only.

The search continues :cry

Here´s a tiny update on the MerrSonn...added the coiled wire with plug.
Since the correct model and maker are still unidentified, I had to cobble one together from various parts I had. Not 100% but close.

Attached with good ole´hotglue :lol

Anyone got a source for a simple 20mm disc, about 1-1,5mm thick?
Need this to finish detailing the left side :unsure

A small threaded section (M4) would be great but not neccessary, since I can simply glue it in place (not your style, I know :lol )

it was the blaster used by zam wesell,
though i fell in love with it playing the star wars galaxies video game, killed a rancor with one.

i tried finding a prop version, might end up building my own once i get to a lathe again.

you should call up JJ Abrams and tell him you can rent some blasters out to him. it would make sense since ep.VII takes place after ROTJ chronologically, and your blasters could attain the ULTIMATE standard of perfection, dare I say it ... (Reverent whisper) Screen used...

Sorry to disappoint you, but I just had a closer look at the parts for the M56 build. seems like the MG42 is covered with grease to prevent rusting, BUT I don´t want to clean the mess in my workshop. So I´ll have to wait for better weather to work on it outside :unsure

Anyway...no need to stop working on props, when you´re having a "run", right!?

Here´s the next project with most of the parts laid out.
Hmmm, a C96, a H&W scope, a bull barrel...pretty obvious what I´m working on huh?!
