Limited Run Oblivion pistol kit V4

I recently went back and remastered my Oblivion pistol for the 4th (maybe even 5th) time since I didn't have one myself and had come across some new high-res reference. I spotted a few new details, and also wanted to finally do something with the switch on the left side without having to resort to a complex rotary switch solution. (Me recent experience making the Blade Runner Eye Scanner and some other things gave me some new ideas.)

So here it is, and since I have resin that I need to use up... I'm offering it up while I have materials to use up.

Cost is $325 shipped. Metal barrel is included. (Talk to Soulinertia about decals... he was open to doing more a while back.)

Improvements made:
  • Thicker inner walls in several places for more weight and strength.
  • Updated trigger for better durability.
  • Trigger setup now has a "slot" to add a momentary switch if you want to add electronics and have a flashing muzzle.
  • Remodeled left-hand switch. It now takes a standard tiny On-Off switch to power on any electronics.
  • Tabs and guides (specifically in the slide)to make assembly easier. Slide now has fewer parts, making it stronger.
  • Slide "mechanisms" on the top redesigned to have many more details (this is one part every other build gets wrong).
  • Tweaks to the back plate, making it easier to tape and screw down.
  • New "sight" piece for the front barrel.
  • Forward frame has been filled in for more weight.
  • Various other minor detail tweaks

Overall, I think this is it. I'm 'done' with this prop as I don't see how I could get it closer without examining a real one in-hand. (It's still one of the coolest scifi blasters to come out in the last 30+ years!)

So... if you want one, SEND ME A PM!

Not that it matters much, but this is the first time I'm printing them in WHITE resin.
