Can you throw out a "ball park" estimate of what you might be doing this one for.....a range would be fine. We know that will need to be tweaked after a more specific cost is figured out. I just want to see if it is any where within my means.

I really don't want to guess, there are many variables on this jacket. You can get some ideas by searching leather motorcycle jacket since it also has protection pieces (similar production difficulty as the one I'm making).

Although if I understand the armor kit would be inserts you can put in the suit, much like a motorcycle suit ? They're not needed aesthetically speaking for the jacket ?

The problem with that is leather bike jackets go from high cost (Example: UD Replicas) to low cost (example: South beach leather).

Joe Rocket brand full leather bike jackets can sell for as much as $500 and as low as $100. There's a wide range of possibilities.

I'm new to RPF, but after exploring for a while, it's clear to see that the bar is set awfully high in regards to quality in everyone's work.
