As I said the armors were much more troublesome than I have ever encountered. But after switching to silicon I believe the problem is solved. Now the armor is soft and won't cause any discomfort wearing!

I will post more updates and even denim jacket with armor. Thanks!

The latest pattern-testing prototype using denim (also testing a lighter colored denim). And this is also a test for techniques to install silicon armor pieces.

I think I'm comfortable enough to move on the leather prototypes!!! Stay tuned for the next update! And also I should be ready to send out PM for the denim jacket very soon, so clear your inbox!

It looks great!! Maybe a stupid question but I'll ask it anyways, with the plastic pieces on, how exactly do you take that to be cleaned?

I would suggest to clean the leather part with leather care kit, and if there's stain on the printed fabric part, use foam upholstery cleaner in stained part. But you should try to avoid cleaning the jacket, as it's never good to the jacket.

yes... as i'd said it's raised (and then indented), whereas the panels in the replica are just indented. It's particularly evident on the lower edges

it's a very minor thing.... the replica looks awesome. i was just wondering if I was seeing things.

Would it be possible to order a version without any armor pieces and just like the photo from the first post in this thread (i.e. all denim)? Love the look of it as a jacket.
