I posted a tutorial MANY years ago, but can't find it. I'm getting a lot of questions about assmebly, so I thought I would take more pics and repost a basic tutorial for my parts.

I hope this is helpful :thumbsup

As I make electronics-friendly parts I'll post another basic tutorial for those, too.

The complete tutorial can be found here: www.romanprops.com/assembly

Definitely good to know! I'm wanting to start on one of these soon (currently broke)... but always wondered how it all went together... if I could mix pieces from different replica parts...

Thanks!

You can pick up a threaded rod at pretty much any hardware store in various lengths. You *might* need to cut it down a bit, but it's fairly easy with a hacksaw.

I appreciate that, jreid. :thumbsup

I'm just glad people are visiting the site! Been getting a lot of weathering questions. :)

James Kenobi 1138 reminded me about the parts alignment a couple days back. I'll be posting that info on my site soon for those in need :)

This is the easiest set up for use with my cone & pommel.
Any other parts combinations can be used so long as the parts can slide on to a 3/8-16 rod. All parts are held in place by simply tightening the cone and pommel, and makes for a VERY STURDY saber. :cheers
