ya i just finished my batch of battery acid mixed with meat and beans im starting to wander if i should get some tums to put next to my crock pot haha

The party was fun! We kinda' felt like a scene out of Fanboys showing up in our Star Trek costumes and gear; we even got a "y'all are brave showing up like that" comment. :unsure :lol
We couldn't stay long due to other commitments but everyone was very inviting and the displays were amazing. Thanks Phillip and everyone involved!

Had a great time Philip, thank you again for hosting! It was awesome to get to see friends I haven't seen in a while and to make new ones!!

It was so great to see everyone again. Sorry to all my friends for not saying good-bye, I lost track of time and had to leave ASAP. I promised my dad I would have the baby picked up by 8:00 !

I still can't believe I missed a ride in the landspeeder. That is the most awesome thing ever in my book. Wayne and the gang did an outstanding job.

Oh, trust me. I've gained a few pounds over the last 10 years as well.
To say we had a good time is an understatement! The props were great, the host was gracious, the people are awesome, the chili contest was brutal! VERY tough competition. There were many great entries and i consider myself lucky to have won. I couldn't have done it...aw, hell! Who am I kidding!?
I WON!!! The rest of you can suck it!!!

But I HAVE started working on it, just not long enough to notice yet. Hopefully, I make more progress on the working out than I have R2...:cry
If I can survive this semester of school, I vow to have more done before my next appearance. Maybe I'll have a full droid done in time for my grandkids' graduations.

P.S. Neil, your R2 was a great scratchbuild. I've been eating a lot of tuna lately ...maybe I should work on my shoulder hubs next?
