non-parks sources for MPP flash replicas?

The subject line pretty much says it all - I'd like to purchase an MPP replica. I've read that there are sources other than Parks but have yet to find one. I'd really rather not deal with Parks, especially on this item due to the history.

I have a real Heiland Synchronar that I may convert to a Vader hilt, but I'd prefer an MPP replica if I can find it.

If you don't want to deal with Parks, but don't mind buying one of his MPP, then I'm sure there're other dealers carrying it. An eBay search is your best bet, unless one of the dealers contact you upon seeing this thread.

Apart from Parks you're left with larbel, which can be hard to find, not to mention expensive.

I think the issue is more with how Parks screwed over the guy whose real MPP he used to make his replica than his shoddy delivery times.
Larbels are that expensive ? i picked one up for i think it was about $110-$120 maybe 18 months 2 years ago and that was with a Yodahouse conversion kit too guess i got a bargain.
Would be nice if someone started offering alternative flash units.

Yes, that's the issue. I'd prefer to stay away from anything in that lineage.

Ok I stand corrected. The one Boba Phett just sold went for slightly over $80.

Man I thought a Larbel would cost a lot more nowadays due to their rarity...:unsure

I figured it would have gone for more myself. Maybe the MR's satisfied enough of the sabre market.

Lately, there has been a glutoney of Fett costumers switching from ROTJ to ESB. The ESB version of the EE-3 uses an MPP in it's construction. I thought that would have offset any sabre saturation.

Oh well. I got what I at least wanted for it.
