Noble Collection Dark Knight props

Aw hell with it! I oredered the Special Edition Cowl. It better be awesome or I'm gonna be really mad.

I ordered the coins and the Joker mask and I live pretty close to them so I should get them a day or two after the ship dates.

I asked about the mask and their line was that it was attached to the stand and wasn't wearable. Of course that doesn't mean I can't make it so.

I'll post reviews as soon as they get here and if they aren't up to par, Noble always has a return policy.

Good point about the return policy. I sent back my Gimli Ax because it had the quality of a child's toy.

Oh and on the note of not being permanently attached....do we think that the batarang and the grapnel gun are attached to their shadowboxes?

As for the cowl being unwearable, I've never been able to get any of my Janty's over my head so I guess it shouldn't make a difference to me.:cry

I don't know if the coins are accurate, but I did contact them asking if they were stamped "COPY." They quickly told me they are not-

Yep, Noble has a terrible reputation for switching the photo products for some thing else that is nothing like it. The Harry Potter coins are a great example. Gosh awful compared to the real thing. They did the same thing with the Hogwarts crest pieces, nothing like the picture, terrible representation. Although other HP items have been pretty good. They also did it in the beginning with their Batmobile mini key chain. Originally showed an incredible machined out multi piece mini replica that was incredible. Then sent out a glob cast crappy one piece thing that was no where near what they initially advertised. So you need to use some caution with them.

I was really impressed until I heard that they switched the pics.

Thanks for the heads up guys. The coins set might be on my list pending a good review from someone here.

I've learned not to buy ANYTHING from NC until I've seen an actual photo of what the customer recieves in the mail... and usually a detailed review as well. They have made some pretty cool stuff - but they have also failed frequently. I purchased the Phial of Galadriel from them - only to find that its made of plastic rather than glass (which, for $75 is a rip off). Accuracy is usually way off as well. So it is VERY discouraging when they use a photo from the film rather than of their actual product (like they are doing with the Joker Bank Heist Mask).

Just know if you preorder anything from them what the risk is - I dont know how picky they are regarding returns...

They claim my coins were shipped out yesterday. I'll let you know what I think when they arrive. I've got a coin made by a member here that is really good and I'm not expecting the NC to compare- I'm really buying this set for the shadow box display. If the NC is bad and you missed the member made coin, Walmart has a bonus exclusive coin that comes packaged with the new DVD for about $20.

That is my concern in thinking about ordering the "Grapnel Gun". I would really like to get a look at the real thing first. From the picture in the catalog and on the web site it is much more accurate than the DC Direct (Diamond Select) version, but of course that picture could be nothing like what you actually get.

The one thing I did find out is that it's "permanently" attached to the display case. :thumbsdown

Noble does have a 30 day money back guarantee, but they do not refund shipping, so if you do return something you are out the shipping both ways.

They suck. Both coins have COPY stamped on them and the scarred side looks nothing like the film version. My PTK coin kicks their asses and I will definitly be returning these.

See, this is the exact problem that I have with NC, you really have no idea about anything until you have the actual product in your hands. We're not even talking about some pre-order item, these are in-stock and they don't even know what they look like!

Should I even ask if the shadow box is any good? At least we have it in writing that they denied COPY would be on them. It should make the return process MUCH easier.

Is it just me, or does it look like they simply spray painted the burned and scarred side? I don't even see a single nick!

wow...what a disappointment. is that the shadowbox version? it looks nothing like the catalog photo, or did the coins come with their own case. WOw, that scarred version is horrible, theres no scratches at all, the walmart version was more accurate than that!

It's also missing "In God We Trust". I plan on making my own replica of these, because I promised some friends I get them a replica.:)
