Yep. Right now I am waiting on the person that is going to cast the soles in clear rubber. Once he has the rubber, he will experiment with resizing the ankle "bubble" part and make sure there is enough room as well as making the bottom sole clear. I am going to put the blue/turquoise LED's in the sole but I want to diffuse the light so that it looks more like the EL sheet.

if you'd like and wanna give me the measurements of the back piece I can try and sculpt one so it has the "nike mag" part on it as well as the more pronounced bump on the top of it and the correct style LED holes of course. That way you can cast them in rubber to glue to the shoe...unless of course you've already made plans to do that

I have been talking about that. I am just not sure it would look good since the soles are cast in a gray and blue foam material. They might look odd if I had to paint them.
I would LOVE to start completelyfrom scratch and build these up but no t quite yet.

But i see you trying to complete the most accurate shoe so i'm just offering suggestions of what I see that would make this hit 88mph...cause apparently when it hits 88 mph you see some serious $#!%

Thank you. I made another shoe yesterday just for fun but I still need to sew the back seam together before I glue the fabric to the foam part.
I also dyed about 2 yards of fabric.

You should try to get this effect on the soles of the shoes.

I think I am going to leave the gray sole part and the heal cup part alone. I just don't think I can accuratize them well enough.

Hey Chris. The glue I use is a spray adhesive from 3M. I think it's called Super 77.

And you don't think you can't walk in the shoe. If you sew fabroc togehther on the inside and outside ( just like Markpoon did) it should be possible to walk in for a few hours perhaps on the presentation Event of the Nike Mag in 2015

The only thing I'm wondering about, (think it was mentioned before) is the gap between the fabric form and the rubber sole. It is most visible in the front straight-on picture. Would you not want to make the "last" slightly wider at the bottom to get rid of that gap? Other than that, everything looks perfect. Amazing work! (see what I did there? it was a compliment sandwich )

Thanks for the concern. I hope this puts your mind at ease. I stuffed the sole with plastic bags to push the sides out as if they were glued. Once they are glued the grey sole with stick completely to the upper and ther for have no gap at all:
