^Ya. I think I discussed this with Brad in a previous thread. Adding ribs and having them look convincing would require pretty significant work. Unfortunately they are a feature on the originals that stands out and is obvious when they are missing.

The ribs are there, they just don't stick out that much. You can feel them if you run your hand over the side. Personally I think the shoe looks sleeker without them being too visible.

I think TGG was talking about Fyfe's mags.
