Take a flat head screwdriver and pry the brown sole up on one side and then you can kind of rip it out.

Not yet. Because what I have made so far is just a test and not what I will be using. I will sculpt the form of the shoe then thermoform the foam in 2 parts (front and rear of the shoe). Then I will glue the 2 parts together, sand the seams smooth, add the elastic "shoe laces" and then lay the grey fabric over the foam form.

Thanks everyone.
So I took my other test form and taped in place to get an idea of the form of the "toe area". The biggest issue I have had with Marks shoes is the bulbous toe area. The original is much sleaker.
So here is what mine looke like. Again, I still have to form the foam better:

Good to hear. Here is a little update from my work. I Do have one part of the shoe done and sewn together. The shape isn't perfect yet but it will be when I ad the leather part for the heels.

Since I have only been able to work on these shoes a total of about 4-5 hours...TOTAL, I keep finding that the ideas I have, keep working out and I have small successes.
The bad thing is that I realize that it will be 2015 before I have these finished
Today I had about an hour to work on these so I decided to test my theory of using 2 smaller sheets of 6mm foam and gluing them together in a place where I can hide the seam by the elastic. Well it worked.
Even though I still havent' perfected the shoe buck and that I have to work the perfect shape out, I am just loving the silhouette of these:

Sure, I'll take a look at it. But I might make my own pattern. I plan on making the foam part first, then making the fabric pattern after that.

shure when my mags are ready i will put the patterns online.
But first, a small sneak of my progress again. the toe part is still a big high I will fix that as good as possible but the problem is I am having shoes size 10.5 so my mags have to fit like a glove because of the small size of the sole. Can't wait to get my fabric to cover the shoe.
