MAN am I just glad I got my pair :thumbsup
Worthy cause? Yes. Proper execution by Nike? No.
Did anyone manage to get a set of the Doc Brown 2015 Glasses that Nike made for this promotion?
I wonder if it's some last minute marketing thing. Tinker stated in an interview that they wouldn't be giving out pairs to VIP's and such, suddenly 2 days before the auction ends we see this.
It was basically a full plug during that game:

Id like to see Nike sell those "It's About Time" T-Shirts that were worn at the LA event and in the promo video.
Yeah, I like those t-shirts. I picked one up this week from eBay.
How much? You think they will continue to pop up?
So upset I'm not able to get a pair. Really do hope when people start getting theirs someone replicates them, hopefully in a size 7.
Yeah, that's what I figured =(I suspect it will be a while before anyone can replicate these really well - and even then, maybe not in various sizes.
Mark Poon's shoes were only made in one size because of the extreme costs involved in manufacturing a wide variety of sizes.
No manufacturing facility would touch the project unless they are making hundreds - if not thousands of each size, so the seller would have to have some sort of guarantee he can sell them all, which he COULD if it were not for Nike owning the rights to the design of the shoe.
It's going to be tough to get these replicated anytime soon. I'm sure it will be done, but doubtfull any replica will come close to the quality of the genuine Nikes.
Someone in China needs to get a set to strip down. They did the same with the Hyperdunks and did a really, really good job copying them.
