That seems to be the general opinion.
The hype was great and they did a great job promoting everything, however we all believe there should have been tens of thousands more of these shoes available at a reasonable price.

That's a shame the BTTF music is so loud in that video that you have a hard time hearing the commentary of the shoes. Not every BTTF related video has to have the music added to it.

I suspect it will be a while before anyone can replicate these really well - and even then, maybe not in various sizes.
Mark Poon's shoes were only made in one size because of the extreme costs involved in manufacturing a wide variety of sizes.
No manufacturing facility would touch the project unless they are making hundreds - if not thousands of each size, so the seller would have to have some sort of guarantee he can sell them all, which he COULD if it were not for Nike owning the rights to the design of the shoe.
It's going to be tough to get these replicated anytime soon. I'm sure it will be done, but doubtfull any replica will come close to the quality of the genuine Nikes.

I'm sure someone in China is looking into getting a pair but will have to wait for the resale market OR have someone in the US to bid on a pair. But remember, this goes beyond a simple pair of shoes. I know someone who works for Nike, he told me the manufacturers of them have all of the templates and will have made some bootlegs. Or there is potential for bootlegs, but obviously they would be out of cheaper material.
Apparently that's how it goes down...but I don't know about the Air Mag's. I'm just hoping to get one of the ceramic collectibles.
