For those of you interested in an awesome shoe cleaner recommendation for your mags. I have been using one that i purchased at ALDO. It works wonders. It comes with a brushing head combined with the applicator. The bristles of the brush are not as rough as most shoe cleaner that have hard plastic. They are more similar to a soft toothbrush so you don't have to worry about ruining the fabric of the shoes over time. I would recommend brushing with the lines of the stitching, not against it. This thing works wonders. I was unfortunate enough to take my Mags with me one night and it started to rain and i got mud on the front and sides of my mags, not only the rubber parts but the cloth as well. I asked my brother in law if he had any shoe cleaner and he popped this bad boy out and i was so impressed by how fast it worked (and i swear it was immediate) I jumped up and bought 4 bottles of this stuff. I also tried it on the laces as well as the tongue and it whitens it like the first day i got them! I don't know what is in this stuff but you won't be disappointed.

Also, another note that is definitely related to this thread. If you guys do decide to use super glue on your Nike swoosh decals like i did, don't worry about it being permanent. I made some Nike swoosh cut outs from some faux leather material that i recently removed so i can replace them with markpoon's version. The spray on glue didn't work well and kept falling off so i decided to use super glue instead. Obviously when i removed the nike swooshes, there was a lot of glue residue that was left over and hard as a rock. I used Acetone and it completely came off. MAKE SURE TO COVER THE RUBBER SOLES WITH TAPE or some other material so the Acetone doesn't touch anything but the cloth on the shoes. IT WILL DISCOLOR THE RUBBER! I learned the hard way. lol. I would recommend using a toothbrush and brush with the stitching, not against it. It may take some time but don't worry, the super glue will eventually come off completely. The shoes look brand new. Now just waiting on markpoon's shipment to come in.

So it looks like the verdict is that the adhesive is strong and does not require superglue to stick? Hope to hear a few more chime in! I do have to ask, how does one go flatting those ribbed areas of the shoe?
If the adhesive is strong, and a few more can back it up, then I'm finally at ease and will be putting in an order after all!

get a cotton shirt that's not too thin lay it over the ribs and iron them until they're where you want it takes time but they look so much better once you do it here's before and after

It's one thing that the adhesive holds the decals, its another when you wear the shoes for a few hours and your feet start to bulge the decals outwards. I'd like to know hoe the adhesive holds up after a few times wearing them. I'm sure the adhesive is fine for the rubber soles.
