Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

lol yes. But seeing how someone actually got them I am hopeful that they will deliver. They stated in the beginning that smaller sizes will come shortly after 11 and 12 so at least they covered that base.

Has anyone done the splatter analysis to confirm its a different pair than the original photos?

the grey fabric seems to be different from the pic, can someone confirm this?

In one of the close ups, it does appear that they have found a match the mesh like material used by NIKE. The swirls you see are moire from the camera. Because this is not a true side by side shot, the camera is adding something.

The prototype photo is a different pair than the box photo. But the box photo is the same pair as the on feet photo. There's at least two pair

Quick question about the packaging on the replicas that you received from David. Did they arrive in the yellow box, or were they in an unbranded brown box?

The reason I ask is because I've had customs seized a pair of v2's last year because the packaging raised a red flag which drew attention to the counterfeit goods coming into the country.

I'm in Ireland. Has anyone had any issues like this in the past?

They arrived in a brown cardboard box, its impossible to tell whats inside unless you open them up.

So people will pay almost $100 usd more using PayPal for what reason exactly? As they offered them to me for $560 via western union or $629 for PayPal. If PayPal has no protection.. Why would anyone pay more to use it?
We also use PayPal here all the time.. Wouldn't 80-90% of what's sold on the rpf be considered technically counterfeit goods too yet PayPal doesn't ever take that into consideration. Might be different with shoes though.

Most of the time people who use PayPal do so because they either can't use Western Union (for me online stuff through WU doesn't work), they are either too young (need to be 18+, many of the members on our forum are fairly young) or have credit in their PayPal accounts and wish to use it.

Its more expensive because of the fee's associated with transferring it to and from accounts, and the inherent risk that is given with using PayPal for counterfeit goods.

The reason that they accept PayPal Gift and not invoice is because a lot of the members on the forum are relativley immature, and have started disputes for no reason, which led to a few of their PayPal accounts getting banned. As such, its a Gift only principle to avoid this.

I've paid Western Union for a few things before, and like @TheMagicTractor, online never worked, so I had to go down to a local money lender which processes it. Never had a problem, though they do specify the person recieving the money needs a full address. The items always arrived. Been a few years now, so can't remember for sure, but that might have even been the way I bought my first 2 pairs of V2's. It just depends on the reliability of the seller.
Haha still remember my old workplace people saying "whoah" when they arrived at work. :D And that was only the V2's.
I know a lot of people have said 'goanna make sure I find out more people receive them before I order them' which is understandable, given the cost compared to a normal sneaker or even a V2, but in order for them to sell at all if it is a legitimate source, someone has to go first. Honestly, if I earned more money, I'd be one of the guniea pigs cos those V3s look so good. My excuse for waiting is to get the money together (and I'm a 9.5/10 so the info I've read is that those sizes aren't ready yet, no stress)

That's true. I've never had any issues with Australian custom's seizing any goods before, but I know on the sub that people from certain European countries do have issues, notably these people in Germany and Belgium.

Just my luck of course :-/
But even if they x ray them, how could they tell they are not authenthic? I'm sure almost nobody at customs have ever seen or heard of a Nike Mag. Nothing to compare it with.

They may flag on something they see in the X-Ray like the batteries/electronics. It doesn't have to be whether the shoe is authentic or not.

Again, all these reasons essentially add up to one thing- the seller is offering zero protection to his buyers and is ensuring he is totally protected.
All these reasons given suggest there is little trust between them and their clients... As they are worried they will get ripped off by a false claim and have all these measures to avoid that.

So the buyer has to assume all the risk and have all the faith that they are trust worthy.

finally! I had written these off after nike crushed my childhood dreams in 2015. may not be able to resist getting a pair, but im gonna hold off until I see you guys get pairs in hand for an honest evaluation.

Anybody received them yet? Itching to buy em if there the real deal.

But they are not the real deal. They are replicas that we hope get delivered after payments.

Last I heard, only sizes 11 and 12 were ready. I'm in need a of a 10, but at $629USD ($870AUD), I'll be buying US7 for display only.

Why a 7?

David has told me 6 pairs have been shipped out so far, most likely to RPF users, so hopefully someone else gets them soon, in love with my pair.
