Nike Air Mag light kits

Hi Guys i have a version 2 or 3 Nike Air mags and the wiring in them suck, I took the shoes apart to rewire but i think i want to replace the battery as well its the round battery uncased in resin or plastic. what are my options in 2018? thanks so much

V2 or V3? There is quite a big difference between the two. Sounds like you have V2 if the battery is encased in plastic. Yeah a full re-wire is in order for these. Most guys upgraded these from LED to EL and used a 9V battery. You can use 3.7V LiPo as well.
