Making this as an xmas gift for a friend.
I found some reference and traced it in illustrator. I just needed to know where the cut outs where.
Got that printed and cut out all the holes. I found the perfect book to use at half price. Only $10. I plan on wrapping the front in leather before applying the design.
The template was transferred to a piece of sintra that I am currently cutting out by hand. The plan is to sculpt on top of that with apoxie sculpt.
