Hi there everyone,

I'm a new member on this forum,I would like to say that I'm totaly blown away by peoples 'creation' on this site,I'm a huge Star Wars fan,and have been making the run of the mill of the shelf Star Wars model kits for years, well, when I say for years,I have stopped over the last few years to study, and now that I have finished my studies and will be going to work soon,I will hopefully have the spare time to continue my much loved hobby.

I still have a few kit's in the Attic to make, there's the pro shop x-wing and a SMT Tie Bomber to be getting on with, but hopefully in the near future I may start studio scale modelling, these models just command a much better appreciation of the hobby..

Keep up the good work everyone,I hope to make many freinds here.

Rob ;) .

welcome. studio scale ain't for the feint of heart. The capital commitment can be, well, it can be quite "draining"... at least on the pocket book. I wouldn't rush into studio scale without first exploring some options like the Fine Molds line of star wars kits. Expertly designed and decidedly more affordable. And if you are just starting work, they would fit in an apartment much better than the studio scale versions. Welcome to the hobby.

Hi,

thanks for the welcome,I don't think I'll rush into studio scale just yet,all the builds on here look awesome though.,and it does make you want to rush into a buying frenzy..

I'll stick with the commercial kits for now,I'm really looking forward to getting started, roll on the weekend where I can get covered in glue and paint.........

Regards,

Rob.
