New Wood Vader saber *UPDATED PROGRESS PICS* pg2

Thought I would post some pictures of my latest project, this is an all wood Vader saber hilt that I am giving to my brother for Christmas. This was my first attempt at a stand for one of my sabers. I am very happy with how it turned out. I went for a little more detail than the last Vader I did. This one is Walnut and Boxelder, the stand is Bocote.

I have another almost the exact same in the works if anyone is interested in some in-progress pictures just let me know. Not sure what I'm going to do with the final product but they are just so fun to make.

That it totally awesome. I hope you'll end up doing an edition with rare wood parts that have intricate burl.

Very nice work, I'm envious! I love the stain job you did, really adds a touch of class bringing out the grain of the wood!
