JUST KIDDING!!!! (No Supergirl series that I've heard of yet...)

Hummm, I wouldn´t mind to have one of this for christmas XD

About WW costume... It´s little plastic look... It´s looks like more a hallowen costume than a tv film one :(

The basic design I like, especially with Shaw's redo with red boots, but it definitely needs better materials and toned down colors. I wonder how the costume would look if the top were made of leather in a darker shade of red, sort of around Peackeeper red, and the pants I don't know and red boots.

Here's my take on it, same costume but muted the colors down and added a slight leather like texture to it.

That certainly does improve it....looks so much better with darker tones.

For my money, 19+ years as a graphic artist, art director, photographer - half of that is photoshopped together. The belt, the tiara, the lasso. Shadows and relationship dont line up.

Im wondering if parts of it were just screen test photos they decided to release. May not be the final version we see on the tv screen.

the darker colours work much better, but the metal parts still are very jarring..too plastic looking. AS CGClone said, they may well be cgi'd as a test.

I hate the costume and its really tacky.. I agree i rather se a more leather look. But we have to look at the origin of the character.

I rather se her like this. Remeber she is an amazonian warrior.

Maybe instead of sandals i rather se boots.

For a modern style i kind of like this one but i rather se a sweet mix of the above and this.

Funny... Louise Lane looks far more credible dressed up as wonderwoman in this photo from Smalville.

TMP posted a bunch before i could, (which are awesome)
the "official" promo shot looks crap frankly,
it looks way too bright, way too uncomfortable, and way too impractical (high heels?? really?)

the heels, the weird crotch, the material choice and that god awful rope.. (it looks like 99c hemp spray painted gold) ugh!!

would look far better and much more believable.

then again, from what i hear the script is similar to sex and the city, with super heroes, so it's not like this will be making it to season 2 anyway.

The outfit looks cheep, I have seen better looking outfits at ComicCon

hey now, a lot of comic con costumes are damn excellent, and often better made than the movie/tv versions they are made to imitate.

I HOPE the costume is just a screen test, and gets heavily changed for the show. My wife and kids can't stand it either, being big fans of the original show.

Now the real question is, if this ends up being the final costume, how can Rubies make it worse?

:)

I know it´s been a while since I last posted, but apart from making a lot of things here that are somewhat nondescript, I´m also making this suit -

. so far, all is working well, but I had only something like 2 hours making it, so it is not exactly a lot, but I´ll post pictures once it´s more ready, should there be anyone else interested.

Lame!! There are so many awesome variations existing already. Just look at all the amazing covers Adam Hughes did and pick one that actually feels like armor a warrior would wear.

Another poor attempt by a "costume designer" who just doesn't get it.

If the fabric didn't look like plastic and the boots weren't blue I might let it slide. As it is, it looks like something someone ordered off eBay from China. Maybe all the shiny is what deflects the bullets...

It totally looks like amateur night. There are probably a couple of dozen people on this very forum who could've made a believable costume instead of this junk.

Well, not *with* the model. It is actually the worst thing to find - the girl with the goods to be Wonder Woman, and by goods I really don´t mean the boobs this time (only THIS time, though), for the problem is - height and body proportions. You can see clearly that she has a breastplate, so that part was solved via using a Mannequin and cut its breast plate. The main problem still is getting THE right girl.

For a while, my sister would wear it, but she doesn´t LOOK like Wonder Woman, her face, that is, she looks somewhat like Sandra Bullock, and I don´t like that particular look for WW, that and my sister is WAY too "normal" for that sort of thing.

meh.

Someone's listening!!

A LITTLE better...but it's still reading "cheeseball" to me -_-. Unless that's what they're going for.

I personally, would have liked something that read better on-screen. The transfer from comic book page to screen is a delicate shift that has to be well thought out...those "armor" pieces still look plastic-y :\.

Nice 'Zombie Cancer Face' though...
