To bad that the porcupine is an endagered spieces. Darn Darn Darn, I have an idea in which I need
* a human spinal column,
* which is 1/2 riveted with semi long 4 feet until 12 feet leather straps.
* And they are all linked to a tiny motor in which the leather straps canautomaticly wound up and released 2.
* A flexible strong piece of young wood (like a very short strong bow). Which can be used as a kind of spinal cord in the spinal column.
* What means that you can flex the spinal column.
Than I need 20 or so porcupine quills which are bound to the leather straps. Which were riveted to the spinal column.
* And some alien looking grip at the end of the spinal chord on the tickest part in which the human spinal column can be flexed.
How the weapon works is simple
The quills are in line of the spinal column, and they are fixed on the spinal colmn.
The spinal column is arched.
And with a trowing motion (and gold firmly at the grip). the quills are released at the prey.
The quills will go in the prey and will slowly go deeper en deeper. But because the quills are linked to the leather straps, and they are linked to the spinal collumn and the alien looking grip, the predator has his prey on the leash....
The quills are of course dipped in poison. So the prey will loose eventually it's strength.
This weapon could be used by old-school predators which don't want to use the plasma caster.
I', busy to make this kind of odd but cool looking instrument for sure. Bummer that I can't get porcupine quills. I know they are for sale on ebay, but it could be that customs will hold them.
