Hello everyone,
I am new to Cosplay and I am now in the process of learning how to make my own stuff. (Starting with Magneto) However I did commission a few things to get me started and give me an idea on what to do myself. Here are a couple of my current cosplays. I am sure I will be on here a lot asking for advice as I learn how to do all of this. The Red Hood shirt was done by Snakepit Studios and the Helmet by Wreck'd Studios. The rest I pieced together. The Black Mask originally was a cheap ebay mask that I completely reworked to make it fit and added some details. I am pretty happy with how it turned out. You can also find me on FB if you are interested in watching me learn to build things. Could be funny depending on how bad i mess things up. facebook.com/griffincosplay

Thanks! I hope you got your mask in better shape than I got mine. Mine was warped and broken. I had to do quite a bit to it. But nothing a heat gun couldnt fix!

Unfortunately not - my mask came slightly warped as well, so I assumed it was from the packaging. After a couple of wears, there was a split right up the middle of the chin! But I trimmed it to make it fit better, and to get rid of the split, and after so many wears, there's still no sign of any splits.

I like that you expose your hair for this. My hair's a bit too large for that - it just poofs out at the back - so I end up wearing a cotton balaclava underneath. It works well, and I also tuck it under my shirt collar.

I was considering covering my hair on this but I am on the fence. I have worn mine a few times now and it has a crack on the side from the shipping im hoping it doesnt get to much worse. I did have to cut off some parts of it to make it fit on my big head lol. And then used the heat gun to shape it to my head a bit better. I really like how it looks. Im hoping it holds together for a little while.
