New Terminator Weapons

Action-figure.com posted some more pics of the up coming Terminator: Salvation toys and while the figures suck to no end, it did offer a look at a redesigned plasma rifle and a pistol of some sort. Really don't care about the pistol one way or the other but the rifle...I'm kinda diggin' it

I wouldnt put much thought into those Terminator rifle/pistol designs as they are prototype toys.

Whats interesting about the Colt rifle and Cmore shotgun John Connor (Bale) is using for T4 is its the same thing he used in T3 (Nick Stahl) during the brief future war scene. Also worth mentioning that Bale, in that picture, looks like he stuck his thumb in his mouth and started inflating his head Tom and Jerry style.

Ya know, not digging the M4 for the terminator franchise. It's a minor complaint, I think the movie has a lot of potential to be cool and I'm looking forward to seeing it.

I'm sure it gets explained as using found weapons, but I always liked the bullpup styled weapons we saw for T1, and T2, and I would definately have brought back those older style, big square laser sights!!

Not sure how I like the hand pistol, but the new Plasma Rifle looks pretty cool, I like the stock on it, reminds me of a pulse rifle, but yea, waiting to see the final designs

The back of that pistol resembles the Blade Trinity camera gun, and the rifle reminds me of a weapon from a video game but I can't quite place it at the moment.

True, they are prototypes but both the minigun that that one type of Endo carries and the rifles carried by the humans are pretty good representations of what we've seen in the photos

So, I have no reason the believe that these don't represent what we'll see in the film.

Looks more like a modified AR to me. The lower portion, mag well, pistol grip, tigger gaurd, and charging handle are very AR like.

That last one looks like they took 2 ARs top to bottom removed ones trigger assembly and handle and then added what almost look like G36 barrels with that weird connecting rod in the middle.

I believe the issue may be the toy people didnt have access to the items in question and based their toys off of pre-production artwork. Just a hunch.
