The finger necklace is still in the design, just not on that sketch.
Just playing with armour and stuff, seeing what works and what doesn't.
The basic look of the original design is still locked in.

I had to watch a movie for work, just doing a check on picture and sound.

I have been using as reference a photo of the P1 and my Neca Wolf.
The left hand will have a scar running across the back of it.
Also it has hard growths (warts) by the thumb?
Still working on it.
Here is an idea for the bio, based off the P1, ha what else.

Finished off the inking on the Left hand while waiting fot he last show to finish tonight.
Quite happy with it.
Might colour tomorrow if i get a chance.

Sorry for the lack of updates, have been uber busy with life stuff at the moment.
One project is happily taking alot of my spare time , work is slowing down but typically not for me
Anyway,....

Still haven't manage to colour in the hands yet but, did manage to finish a couple of design ideas for the wrist blade gauntlet.
The first one I call the “Nostromo”, modelled after the doomed tug in A L I E N
It is also inspired by the clean look of one of the comic designs in the ‘90’s

The Second one is a variant of a gauntlet on my “Samurai” design I did a few years back.
It is not like Rob’s design, it was just a name that I slapped on it.
This one has the beaten metal look, partially inspired by the look of the P2 armour.

Working on other designs for the rest of the armour but nothing too exciting yet.
Better get a move on before Kithunter cracks the whip

The second guantlet got a slimmer and better flow to it, but I think I like the first one more.
Good luck with the rest of the armor.

Mix'nmatch: combining the shape of the first with the look of the second would go a long way.

Also, you can't design enough stages

Thanks for the comments Nicole, Skull i am still tinkering, i always tinker.
I am studying some of my earlier stuff for insipiration, of course searching through the art on the Lair is a must.

Just worked out the final design (at the moment) so i can start on stuff.
Goal to be ready for a con in 2012

Well i missed the con,....no surprise there. Started re toolong adding more detail to my old wrist blades that i made last century
They are cut out of acrilyc sheets.

well i have picked up a small plastic fishing tackle box that doesn't have the small compartments inside to be the basis of the wrist computer.
Also started collecting pieces to make a shoulder cannon with.
Having another look at my pred hand that i started last year.

I will try to incorperate parts of the Millenium Falcon kit, like they did way back in 86', it will not be a P1, but a Predator never the less

Started collecting more parts for the cannon, inspired also by the amazing work done by other members in the Cannon compition, stellar work by all.
Found old pics of my first Predator suit way back in 1990?-92 unsure of the year.

Yes, got back in to my hand the other night,...ok that sounds wrong??
Any way have done the skin with bumbs etc on my Predator right hand.

I just have to say, that I am so used of seeing standing preds that your sitting one freaked me out. He's just causally sits there, like waiting for a cup of coffee and the latest gossip. Its hilarious.

Anyway, the blades looks great. Will you make the gauntlet for them or are you buying one?

Yeah that was my suit on it's coffee break before completion.
I am rebulding the blade Gauntlet on the remains of the old one, still deciding if i will scrap the old blades altogether and make new ones.
Have nearly finished the first hand up to the ready for painting stage.
Which i will add in a new topic in the skin section,...when i get a minute.

Finall bought some thin foam craft sheets so i can detail my suit pieces,...when i build them. Have also collected bits o' pieces for my cannon,....hehe good year to build a suit i think
