New Spidey Suit for The Amazing Spiderman 2

Yikes! That Electro suit looks a bit Saturday Night Fever for my liking

Bigger eyes - great. Still not a fan of the ASM fishnet grid pattern webbing. Hope they make the webbing with more curved lines.

Those bigger lenses suck - speakingof disco - bigger lenses were coolin the age of excess - the 80's - with Mcfarlane's cartoon style backing them up - but transfered to live action they look stupid. They should be looking at Ditko or Romita sr - and leave overblown design elements for the kiddie cartoons they show.

I agree that the McFarlane lenses would look awful on screen, but the one's I posted I feel are a nice middle ground. I don't know, spidey just looks better with the bigger lenses. Just a little bigger though.

I was never fan of the big McFarlane lenses. He ruined the look with those and all that webbing everywhere. The Romita Sr eyes are perfect. As is the rest of the suit.

Perhaps I should elaborate. I would like slightly bigger eyes, but the Romita lenses would be perfect. If they looked like this, I'd be happy:

I didn't know they were changing suit cool, makes sense though......

I agree bigger eyes look great, but in the asm movie he was supposed to use sunglasses so makes sense that they are smaller.....

If the movie were, real, as people pointed out, he would have access to everything everyone one here does so he could make the suit anyway so it could be really different or just slightly......

I wonder when the leaks of the new suit will come out.....

No need to elaborate - we got ya - some just dont agree. The Romita eyes are classic and you can never go wrong with a classic. I love the droopiness of the webbing on the Ditko suit but a straight Romita would be fine by me.

That's how I feel. I don't want bigger lenses that look like the ones we've seen in the movies thus far. The size and shape of the Romita lenses I posted would be perfect to me.

I don't necessarily think so. How often do they ever explain the little changes on costumes in movies? I suppose it could just be so he can see more/better.

Romita Jr did the EXACT same kind of eyes as his father before him. and Mcfarlane was 90's not 80's. Romita Jr. was 80's. Not to mention, if they did the bigger lenses, he may end up looking like the Ultimate Spider Man since Garfield is so skinny. The Romita eyes rock!

Am I the only one who hates the Romita eyes? They make him looks like someone just ran a turd under his nose and he can't shake the smell.
